Title: Material textures in animation - best practice?
Post by: philw on November 18, 2015, 09:27:36 AM
Its been mentioned a few times in the past  - but is there a best practice (anything different in v6) for models that use the standard materials , e.g, rough black plastic - to avoid the "static" texture effect that is usually visible as the model spins around, zooms etc. ? Should I be adding bump maps etc to these materials that will move with the model to hide this? Or am I missing a setting that would help when rendering out the frames?

Many thanks!
