Title: I need help for jewellery renders
Post by: guns82 on November 24, 2015, 01:09:07 AM
Good morning,

sorry for my English but I'm Italian. (spero di trovare qualche connazionale che mi risponda)
I need to update my modeling and rendering softwares, and only now discovered KeyShot. until today I have used v-ray, but now I have the problem of jewels planar rendering, and before updating v-ray, I would like to know if KeyShot is better. I am attaching a sample to be rendered. please help me so that I can choose the best renderer. thank you

Have you taken a look at the Quick Tips (https://www.keyshot.com/resources/learning/quick-tips/) or Tutorials  (https://www.keyshot.com/resources/learning/tutorials/)page, there is a tip there about rendering jewelry (https://youtu.be/SWkVTbwp9DM?hd=1&fs=1&autoplay=1&rel=0). Another place to look is the Webinars (https://www.keyshot.com/learning/webinars/), there is a webinar specifically about "Mastering Jewelry Rendering" there.
Also take a look thru the Gallery and Forum for some images that may help in your decision.

Hi Guns.

Take a look at the portfolio of Nacho: http://www.nachoriesco.com/#!gallery/ctzh
He has created some pretty nice jewelry (and) renderings.
