Post by: Dennis-GER on November 27, 2015, 11:21:52 AM
Hey
This is my first try of automotive rendering in Keyshot. Maybe you can give some Feedback and tips, how I can improve my skills  :)

Hello :)

I have never done an automotive render myself.
But from what I can see, the surroundings are to vivid. It makes the car kinda fade away in the background.
There is also so some weird blending going on the right corner of the car (yellow fade).
I would suggest trying to create more contrast between the car and the environment.
As I said I have never done automotive renderings before, but I hope it helps :)

Hey Dennis! Welcome to the KeyShot forum!

For your first, this isn't too shabby. I would suggest working on capturing the details of the the car. The car seems a bit out of place for what it is--I'm thinking pace car, but it's on a forest road. The light and surrounding color overpower the subject a lot--personally, I think the backplate is too saturated, but I like a more, slightly desaturated look in photos.

I would also suggest working some studio shots to nail down the lighting and watching Tim Feher's webinar on Automotive rendering.

Look forward to seeing more!
