Love this! A bit androgynous. I prefer more the first eyes as darker, in that light, they appear more real. I wonder if a bit more contrast in the skin would help the realism. Really cool!

How did you do the lighting?  Panels or hdz with inside emmiters?

And yeah. .. i preffer the first eyes. Also. ... model the eyes according to proper anatomy. You get better light reflection.
