Title: How do I migrate all my materials and image data from KS5 to KS6?
Post by: tomlehn on January 07, 2016, 09:42:46 AM
I see that both releases have there own folder (directory) but not sure If I can just drag and drop all the data from KS5 folder to KS6 folder without damage.
Any help is appreciated if theres a more "official" updating/migrating process.
Thanks
tom

I created a new folder called "KS5 Assets", copied all of my KeyShot 5 Assets into it, and then dropped the new folder into the KeyShot 6 Materials.  Or you can create any combination of new folders you want.  The main thing is to not overwrite the amazing new KeyShot 6 assets.

Hope this helps!
