Title: Using IronCAD Configurations
Post by: tomlehn on February 23, 2016, 07:39:29 AM
It would help tremendously if Keyshot would recognize the configurations created in IronCAD.

Example: I design many products of cabinetry so I show in Config 1 - closed with product and Config 2 - open without product.

So currently I have to either created 2 versions and import which makes huge files or make 2 ks files and trying to use the same lights, materials etc.. is difficult unless I'm missing something.

thanks
Tom

Size of file doesn't really bother KS from what i have noticed. I would say import both versions, use the tickbox to turn off one of those, and then set the materials and lighting etc, once happy with that render, then turn that one off and re-enable other, that way you keep lighting, materials and camera :)

Thanks Martin
Appreciate the feedback. But the file size I'm trying to keep a minimal is IronCAD not so much the KS file.
