Here I will post my work with kitchen knives where I integrate 3d renders on stock photography, starting from one of the latest shot.

have you increased the shadow under the knife?
With Photoshop?

Thank you Antoine.
In this case I did not. I just used the shadows of the original knife in the stock image. But if I cannot match the shadows as in this case then I usually increase it in photoshop to match the original image shadows.

For this image, for example, I did have to increase the shadow as the orinal plate did not have good shadows. What I did was duplicate the layer of the 3d render knife and change the blending mode of the lower layer to Overlay.
