Title: Can't see my shadows
Post by: Crings on March 21, 2016, 04:06:56 AM
Hi there,
I need your help, because I can't find the answer anywhere.

I can't see my ground shadows either when set to lighting environment, color or backplate image.
Both Ground shadows and ground reflections are enabled.

Can someone please help me  :-/

Thanks

Have you checked if your model is below or way above the ground?

This issue sounds like:
- wrong scene unit
- virtual ground dimensions too small
- 'unlucky' HDRI environment

Plz share the solution or some screenshots from the project window tabs (or share your current scene without geometry or with a dummy part)

Thank you so much! The solution was simply to check the "snap to ground" and then move the model around with "select look at point" instead of "move model"
Thanks for helping a rookie :)
