Hi all! I have a question. I am trying to make an reflective effect and with bump I get the effect but it gives depth and that isn't something we want to get.
Basicly black should get no higher reflection but the white should get the most.
I can only think of using a bump map... So any idea how I can do this without BUMP or not getting the depth itself?
Anyone:P?
What happens if you set the bump to 0 ?
Or use the bump that's giving you the effect that you want on the diffuse slot, and then use the option to mix it with the colour you want

Sounds to me like you should use the texture as a map for 'specularity' or 'roughness'.
Have you tried that on e.g. the 'advanced' material type?
Hi, well the lower i place the bump the less you see the hight but the reflection as well :( And i tried different sort of textures.

Sad enough not the result it should have :( Any other ideas?
All right.
Are you able to post a reference photo of what you are after?
