Title: Koenigsegg One:1
Post by: SebasDesign on July 19, 2016, 07:40:42 PM
Poor Koenigsegg One:1 (Chassis #107) crashed yesterday at the Nurburgring so I decided to make a render of that car just for fun and to wait until they repair the real car.
(Yes, another smokey black studio... I will find inspiration to model a 3d studio soon)

The ground plane is awesome. How do you add smoke to your scenes ? KS or post production ?

Did another render of the one:1 but this time the last one produced, the one shipped to America... as for the picture I don't really love it that much but I thought I'd share it anyway

Hi guys
This time I rendered the One:1 to test the carbon material and also in a studio shot inspired by Nils' R8 render
It ended up looking like a poster (at least I know I'd buy something like that)
It turned out well but there is something that throws me off, still don't know what... and also sadly with this kind of render you can tell the quality of the model, which in this case is sort of good but not that much and that ruins the reflections in some areas...
I can't decide if I love it or hate it but you guys can tell me what you think!

-Sebas
Oh and thanks Tim! Sorry I didn't read your comment before

I think that the material looks a bit dirty. I can see white dots all over it and i think that's what's throwing you off a bit. I don't know if it is a lighting or setting issue. Definitely not the material cause it looked great on your other thread.
