Title: Multiple Material change
Post by: CoalHedgehog on September 20, 2016, 05:52:22 AM
I would like to change the properties of multiple materials all at once.

For example, when I create an image for our company literature, I also create a technical drawing / Toon version.

It would be nice if I could select all materials in a scene and change them all to Toon.

Does this make sense?

There are 2 ways you can do this:

- Select the model at the top level, and then take a saved toon material from the library and drag it onto the entire selected model in the scene tree

- Select the model at the top level, right click, and select "Change Material Type". Select the material you want to change it to and press "done". This will change every part in the model to the selected material while maintaining the color in the diffuse channel.

I hope this helps.
