Hey all,
I've got some weird shadows rendering on all my a3 300dpi renders.
Here is some information:
Windows 7 ultimate
KeyShot 6.2.105
Plugin version, where can i find this?
Object made in Maya 2016
Steps to take to reproduce the problem, Dont know it did it with all my renders
Someone with the same problem? Or something close to this.
Thanks!
Here are my system specs:
Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit
Intel(R) Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8CPUs)
16Gb Ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960
Hope this is usefull
Cheers,
Davey
Edit:
Could it be my global illumination cache? Because the part that rendered correctly is the scaled up version of 1920x1080 only now larger (A3)
Hello,
What environment background type are you using?
Chad
Hey Chad,
I am using the officedesk2k.hdr with the whitesolidvignnette.jpg.
But it should not be the background that is interfering.
If i render the same camera in 1920x1080 72dpi I have a nice clean image. So i switched it to A3 and 300dpi with corresponding pixel size for print and than I get these results.
Thanks for replying and I hope you could help me some more :)
Davey
Thanks for the information, Davey. Try using a white color for the background (instead of a backplate) and to get vignetting, you can add your own vignetting under Project>Image>Effects.
I'm going to try that, it is going to render overnight.
Thank you very much.
Dear Chad,
Thank you very much!
The background vignnette was indeed the problem.
It should give you a warning when selecting a higher image render than the background though.
Again, thank you so much!
Have a nice day,
Davey
Great, glad to help!
Take care,
Chad
