Title: Changing the Scene Hierarchy doesn't work the way it should
Post by: monson67 on September 28, 2016, 09:09:52 AM
Late 2015 iMac Retina 27"
Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
KeyShot 6.2.105

When you click and drag a part in the scene tree to reorganize (i.e. change the scene hierarchy), there is a black line that denotes where the parts will reside when you release the mouse button. But that isn't where the part actually ends up. It seems that moving a part lower in the list behaves appropriately, but moving a part higher in the list causes it to react randomly, landing anywhere from 1 to 2 spaces away from where it was supposed to.

Correction: moving parts down in the list behaves erratically as well.

I've got a bug in on this as well... the only way I've found to consistently put things in a specific order is to drag them one at a time in reverse order into the top of their group (over the group name).

If you drag more than one, they end up in what appears to be random order.

We are aware of this. This will be fixed in KeyShot 7.
