Title: LAVA material
Post by: Livingstone on October 20, 2016, 02:12:39 AM
Hi guys,
I tried to create a procedural lava material based on curvature . My problem is the emitted light is not enough strong as visible in the floor .
I think it is because I used an emissive material as label .
There is any way to use an area light diffuse as label material?
On the left and centre the lava material with 2 different settings. On the right the original model with a simple grey plastic .

Nice materials! The emissive material is the only one that can be applied as a label, as well as the only material that can be textured.

Have you tried turning down the brightness of your environment, as well as making sure global illumination is turned on?
