Title: Random network rendering thought of the evening...
Post by: philw on December 10, 2016, 12:14:30 PM
Spent today having to resurrect a older job for some extra animated footage that was unexpectedly required... and as I tried to remember the job I thought it would be super handy to have some kind of job ticketing feature so I could instantly recall the previous render settings used.

Forgive me if it's already somewhere in the network logging...but I don't think so ?

Thanks for listening!

I've made it a habit to pull a .ksp package at the completion of each project for the archive.  That way everything is retained regardless of version.

I recently had to resurrect an old project from KS3, into KS6.  Of course many of the materials, settings, backplates etc. did not pull over into KS6.  So this is an important part of due diligence!
