Title: Fluid simulation
Post by: Hawks89 on December 12, 2016, 05:31:51 PM
Is it possible to add fluid simulation to an animation? Do you have to import it from something like Blender? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You have to make the fluid animation in a third party software and export in Alembic format.

Best of luck.

In KeyShot 6 you will need to write out an OBJ sequence which you then import and render via a script.

In KeyShot 7 you will be able to import these animations natively using the C4D, Maya, 3DSMax, FBX and Alembic format.
