Title: save Wintertime
Post by: Digital Epics on December 19, 2016, 08:39:20 AM
I made this image, which was used for a complete campaign for print and web. The scene was build up in Maya and rendered in Keyshot 6.2. Post was done in Photoshop. Glad to hear your C&Cs!

Best Regards

Well, Nicolas, the rendering says it all for your target audience.  Most of us forget to work toward the need, not our own wants.  Good job!!  Snow and white are really tough...

Hey Bill,
thank you for your c&c! Nice to hear that from a different perspective!
For me I like the image because it was fun to work with and my initial concept was approved by the final image..

I think this is the best combination, when you work on something targeting but is also exactly what you like to do.. In this cases the work has the potential to stand out.

Perfectly done! I wouldn't add the kid though but looks awesome specially ground details and of course the snow man!

Thank you very much!
Can you explain it further why you wouldn't add the child? Very interesting to me! :)
The intention was to connect "safety" and the child. So the Image gets an emotional value to the viewer. It's a kind of USP and part of the marketing to emphasize a product with an emotional value. I hope it makes sense ?

Thank you very much! :) With Keyshot 7 it would be far more easier to do! Can't wait for the release!

Of course it makes sense.Don't get me wrong you're definitely right about the marketing purpose, I just thought this is just an environmental render you made!  :)
good luck!
