Title: Ufold and fold 3D layers
Post by: blueye89 on February 08, 2017, 02:59:51 PM
Hello to all,
I use Keyshot to do realistic renders at work, but I am wondering if someone could tell me is it possible to animate layers (fold - unfold) like on the attached video?
If it is not possible to be done in Keyshot, please give me advice which software is the best for this type of animation?

Any help is very appreciated.

Hello Danijel. I understand that Keyshot 7 will suport mesh deformations, but as for current versions i think that this is not possible yet. Any animation soft can handle this effect though (Maya/3dsMax/Blender/Cinema4D).

Hello @NM-92,
Thank you for your reply.
Would you like to provide an similar video (youtube) example cause I have tried to find using keywords like: "fold unfold 3d layers animation" and I didn't have a lucky to find anything similar.
Many thanks!
