Title: Can't quite put my finger on it but...
Post by: philw on April 06, 2017, 07:43:15 AM
A quick straw poll - has anybody else noticed that the latest updates of Keyshot 6 have become just "not as good" as they used to be on the Mac ?

Its difficult to pinpoint, but performance seems worse than it used to be and sometimes the main viewport just stops updating /moving at all - no amount of switching between render modes or clicking generally brings it back - a force quit is the only way...

I'm begrudgingly having to spend more time sat at my PC :-)

Running 6.3.23 on an i7 4Ghz iMac 5k with 32GB RAM...

Hi Phil.

I haven't experienced that. Running as usual on my macbook pro mid 2015, 2,5GHz i7.

I suppose there's always a chance my Mac could do with a fresh, non-migration start... :-)

philw,

I recommend pausing and un-pausing the realtime view should this happen.

Thanks Will – have tried that but nothing can make the window sort itself out.

I've taken the plunge and erase my Mac over the weekend and manually put everything I need back with no automated migration just in case I've accumulated too much crap over many years and many macs...

Haven't had chance to try anything since properly as today has turned into an Illustrator day but fingers crossed...
