Title: Modern Kitchen Concept
Post by: JonWelch on April 25, 2017, 04:06:21 AM
So I wanted to hear some thoughts about this rendering - critiques mostly. After trying another interior render for a client, I was pleased with the results but wanted to design something for myself. I have to say the Interior mode is really fantastic. Looking forward to any and all feedback.

Modeled in Solidworks
Rendered in Keyshot Pro 6

That looks really nice! The lighting is well balanced, and your color palette is spot on. You also have plenty of props that make it a convincing image; many interiors (mine included) lack the extra details to make it look "lived in".

My only critiques for you would be the tile textures (they look a little large, especially the floor), and a lack of a central focus point in your image.
Everything is so nicely balanced that there's nothing specific to look at; I would find something to emphasize a bit.
A little Depth of Field might help drive that as well.

Great looking image though!!!

I was thinking depth of field too. My eyes go back to the clock on the wall. The lighting looks great, so think you just need to pull the focus forward.
