Title: Halt rendering?
Post by: neilr on April 01, 2011, 12:30:04 PM
I was wondering if rendering can be stopped and still allow me to do other things in Keyshot? I have a scene that I need to move things around in and it is very difficult to do as the rendering process keeps kicking in and making slight adjustments near impossible as my object tends to end up three of four times further away than I wanted it...same with camera movements....

You can't halt the real time but you can speed up your FPS by turning off environment shadows while moving things around. Plus situating anything before applying "heavy" materials will help too.

Going into "performance mode" with the hotkey [alt + p] should help.
