Title: Going from Hypershot to Keyshot...
Post by: artguy1969 on April 19, 2011, 07:11:58 AM
Hi; I just joined the forum and downloaded the Keyshot installer, so I can start familiarizing myself in the program. I have a question before I install- a colleague warned me that upon installing, Keyshot automatically took his Hypershot .bip files and converted them to Keyshot files, no longer openable(?) in Hypershot.

How can I avoid this from happening to me? I need versions of my files that can still be opened in Hypershot, for the time being.

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,

KeyShot will not change any of your bip files unless you load and save them. Your old HyperShot install will remain unaffected. You can run KeyShot in parallel without any issues.

Hi, Henrik,

Okay, I'll have to try it out. Thanks for the quick response!
