Title: Attach a camera to model
Post by: Dan Wolf on June 21, 2017, 05:24:20 AM
I'd like to attach a camera to a model, or make the camera's absolute position relative to a model's origin, in order to view what that camera sees during an animation.

I don't really understand what you are trying or looking to do.
Can you explain in more detail? Or give some examples?

For what it's worth... In KeyShot 7 you can move the active camera around in the Geometry View using a move tool.

I just found another topic of yours... :)

If this is the same request, then no, this is unfortunately not possible.

You can of course apply individual camera animation to try and match your model animations. That might work, depending on the complexity of the crane's motion.

Thanks for the response.  I'll do what I can with the individual camera animations to match the moving parts.
