Title: Texture Disappearing When Zoomed Out
Post by: cgrill on April 29, 2011, 07:23:45 AM
I've been trying to render the edge of a skateboard using a texture created from a shot of plywood.  When I render the image using a camera close to the edge of the board it renders great but when I zoom out to a camera further away it loses all the detail and becomes a cloudy brown.  I'm not sure what is going on because in the realtime render it looks great both up close and far away, it is only with the final render that the zoomed out view distorts/disappears.  Anyone know what is going on?

Thanks,
Chris

What version are you using? Make sure you are on 2.2.65.

Thomas,

I'm using the newest version but am still running into the issue.  My texture was working fine before and it looks great in the realtime but still disappears when I go to render from a further zoom.  I changed the texture's image and bumpmap to one that worked previously but even that didn't do anything.  Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Chris
