Damn! That's a lovely data set you have there! A suggestion that pops out to me... see if you can use the rounded edges function to soften the edges of the acoustic foam. I actually have that in my home studio and yours looks a bit hard and reflective. Try some noise texture on the diffuse and maybe reduce the IoR of the material. Great images though!

Was thinking the same thing Will! Great renders. Welcome to the KeyShot forum!

Damn, I am SO jealous!  My little studio only has an ADAT, a Mackie 1604-VLZ mixer, and a TC Electronics M-1 goodie box.  But I do have a pair of Universal Audio 6176 tubed preamp/compressors!  I use only AKG mics. But we've laid down some good CD's!

Oh ya- I love the renderings! That's some serious modeling, and very well done!

I don't know about anyone else, but I really love those AO pass renders. Always have. Sure realistic texturing and all the neat stuff with the matgraph tricks are cool, but visually, I love the AO pass renders. So cool.

And speedster- I still have a box full of DAT tapes, and a huge case of ADAT tapes from my time in tech school. I'm pretty sure I remember whats on them, and I'm pretty sure I will not be transferring any of it for posterity!

To show my age, my wedding was shot on BetaSP and offlined on an Avid MC6.5 (with the pizza box) at AVR75.

Nice renders! This scene would be a fantastic study on different materials. I would suggest a contest or for fun supplying the scene to see how other artists would texture and light it. Would probably get some pretty cool renditions!
