hello
after my computer is done rendering the fans are still loud and the computer is still hot.
how can i change the setting so when i leave keyshot on for the night the coputer will sleep after rendering is done?

Most probably the realtime view is still cranking away after the render job has finished.
There are a couple of options for preventing KeyShot from endlessly blowing off steam:
- Pause the realtime view before clicking Render. The realtime view will remain paused after the render is finished.
- Choose Background as the Render Mode. Render in Background will render the job in a separate KeyShot instance and pause the realtime view for you.
- Set a time or samples (in KeyShot 7) limit after which the realtime view will pause automatically. Look for the option "Pause Real-time Render after..." in the General section in preferences.

You could also choose to render with the Time Mode limit in keyshot and set a shutdown scheduler on your os (windows / mac).
