Title: Assigning different materials to the same part.
Post by: zooropa on September 12, 2017, 02:46:54 AM
Hi. I am making some material test on a model in KS. I would like to know, if possible, how can I apply different materials without loosing them. Is there anyway to navigate through them in a dynamic way so I can test visualization within the same part.
I guess I could also copy paste the part several times, but I am almost sure once I saw a video where they showed that KS has this feature.

Thanks a lot

Hi zooropa.
If you have KS7 this is exactly what the multi-material does.

If you're on KS6 you can create different scene sets and apply a different material in each of them.

Hope it helps you in the right direction.
