Hello to all,
I have a trouble to load my materials from Keyshot7 to Keyshot6. I try import but Keyshot6 freeze the screen and require reinstalation of software.
On the other hand I also tried to copy/paste those materials from folder: C:\Users\Public\Documents\KeyShot 7\Materials to folder C:\Users\Public\Documents\KeyShot 6\Materials but still the same, while try to startup Keyshot6, its screen freeze.
Any advice?

Hello Danijel,
I am afraid that KeyShot 7 Materials are not Backwards compatible. They Can only be imported in KeyShot 7 or newer.
You can not use KeyShot 7 Materials in KeyShot 6 or prior.
Of cause it should not brake KeyShot 6 in the way it does. Updating to the latest available KeyShot 6 version may prevent the freeze.
Note:The Update will not add the possibility to import KeyShot 7 Materials.
That's something that I afraid. Material library can't be used as the project can't be opened with the earlier version.
