Title: Add Labels in clown pass
Post by: PeterSwift on October 03, 2017, 02:37:51 AM
been waiting for this feature for a long time.  And I don't think it's in the new keyshot 7.  We need a label to be visible in clown pass. As well that you can render it in it's own render layer possibly.

Would it be helpful to create custom clown layer like renders? Change every material type to flat, tweak the colours if needed, turn on the performance mode and render that.
Job done.

I posted this same request a couple weeks back:  https://www.keyshot.com/forum/index.php?topic=19540.msg81597#quickreply

It'd be really helpful if I could have the option to have labels with alpha channels show up in my clown passes.  I'm often placing pad-print, silk screen, and/or laser etch logos and text in my renders.  If they could be "clipped out" as part of the clown pass, it'd sure make for quick selection and post-editing in Photoshop.

This would be a handy feature!

As far as I'm aware, this is currently in the works.
