Title: Render Que
Post by: Robb63 on May 25, 2011, 09:09:03 AM
It would be nice to be able to setup my renderings completely including adding renders to the queue, then simply open the queued renderings on my other machine for it to render them while I work back at my main machine.

I know I can setup the scene/cameras and open them on my second machine at set the queue, but I have a great, comfortable workspace that my main system is at, and a not so comfy to use second setup, so to sit at the second seat for several hours queuing up big render jobs is a pain.

I agree.

the ability to render to only a slave or to several slaves while keeping you main stations capacity free for work is great.

Using network rendering in combination with the render queue would be a great addition.
It is nice to have your workstations rendering as a render farm over night when they are not in use.

Also the ability to add/remove slaves while rendering a queue would be great.

I use these options a lot with Maxwell render.
