Title: Noise reduction
Post by: Metin Seven on November 26, 2017, 03:03:52 AM
Hi,

I'd love to see deep noise reduction in Keyshot, like in Pixar's Renderman (https://rmanwiki.pixar.com/display/REN/Denoise+Workflow) and Blender's Cycles (http://blog.thepixelary.com/post/160451378592/denoising-in-cycles-tested).

This type of noise reduction goes beyond what a 2D denoising post-processing filter does. It actively analyzes data from the scene and rendering to reduce noise very effectively.

When I'm using Blender I always switch on Denoising, because it takes far less samples and time to reach a rendering that's visibly nearly indistinguishable from a rendering with a lot more samples.

Many thanks in advance,

Metin
