When you edit your folder preferences add a new location, the 'Read only' and 'Default folder' options are grayed out after you've selected a folder. You have to click OK, then go back in to edit the setting. Why can't you edit the settings once you've selected the folder as you are adding it?
I noticed this too. Its a pain, and not sure why it works that way. I just cursed at it once, did it and forgot about it :)

Haha, yeah. I've gotten used to it but after installing Keyshot on a couple more machines the past few days I figured it bothered me enough to say something.
It's an extra layer of security to be sure you wish to make it available to everyone else as far as I'm aware.
