Yes, really interesting design there. There's some odd contrast (to my eye at least) with some bright hot spots  in the metal and some very dark areas on the stone. Draws attention to the mermaid sculpt, but loses some attention on the ring as a whole. I think some contrasting warm/cool lighting and some clever DOF could have the same effect, but really capture the entire piece better!

I am so grateful for your excellent description of my work...Really Really thank you.
This was the project that I had done in the second jewelry rendering workshop to familiarize students with the Keyshot and learn some of the techniques to them for create jewelry renders.
