Title: Do I need Global illumination on for this type of scene?

office scene with glass but no ceiling, yet! Render looks cleaner without GI on.. do I need it on?
I presume I will need it ON if I add ceiling and switch to interior mode?

If you add a ceiling then interior mode with GI is recommended. It looks ok now, but GI will take it up a notch :)
