Title: Diamond wedding set
Post by: Krist Hochburger on February 15, 2018, 02:54:26 PM
I just got version 7 pro and did this render pretty quick. this was just for customer approval and not for catalog or print. I am blown away with the re-tessellation feature, and the 'ignore intersecting geometry' feature as well. it makes jewelry rendering quick. I am new to the pro features. any comments or advice will be greatly appreciated. I'm happy to be a part of this community and hope to learn a lot from all members.

Its great. You have a couple of big hotspots on the diamonds and one on the band, which can be eliminated by changing the lighting. More of a point light than an area light would give the stones more sparkle. Lighting is the secret behind all of this stuff, remember it is photography.
