Hello - I have been using KS for about a year now - And I'm a huge fan!!! I primarily use Autodesk Inventor as my modeling software, and one feature that Inventor has which proves invaluable is "Replace Component". So if I need to replace a component in an assembly with another I can right click on the component, choose Replace Component, select the new component and it swaps the part out in the same location in the assembly (if it's modeled with same UCS). A feature like this inside KeyShot would be wonderful!!!
Thanks again for the great product!

+1 All CAD has this capability, which I use all the time in SolidWorks. It would avoid a complete rebuild of large assemblies when using the "Update" command in KeyShot.

Yes, I agree. This would be good. It is something we have talked about. Thank you for bringing it up.
This feature would be a nice short track instead of importing the new part into a scene, copy the position of the part that should be replaced, paste the position and delete the unwanted part.
That's great to know it's being discussed!!
