Title: HDRI editor output resolution
Post by: terida on February 26, 2018, 08:49:35 PM
Background in environment menu,  If I select Color or  Gradient or Sun&Sky,
I can select resolution preset  what I want.

But, when I select "Image",  I can't export HDRI more than 4000px*2000px resolution even the original image is larger than 4000px width and displayed resolution is correct.

Is this bug?
Does anyone have same problem?

I really want to know how to output higher resolution HDRI.

Platform / OS : windows7 64bit
KeyShot version :7.2.135

This works fine for me.
If I load a 10000x5000 HDRI and export it again from the HDRI Editor, then that new HDRI is also 10000x5000.

I can't replicate this issue as well. I created a new scene with a new environment. Set background to sun & sky with 10,000 x 5,000 px. Added a pin. Recalculate the resolution and exported it as .hdr file (see attached).

Done is current version of 7.3

Cheers

I upgrade keyshot8, but still I can't export HDRI lager than 4000px.

This time I notice that if I add  a pin, the export resolution go down to 4000px X 2000px.

Does anyone have same issue?

Best to start posting screen shots of your environment settings, your export settings, create a simple project, save it as a package and post that too.

Just a thought, would this be a limit to the trial or student version of keyshot?
