Title: Crash when selecting any Recently Opened file from the "Welcome to Keyshot 7"
Post by: quigley on June 19, 2018, 08:27:25 AM
As it says. Very repeatable on both Dell Precisions here, both running Windows 10 (latest versions) amd Keyshot 7 (latest versions).
Open Keyshot 7.
The Welcome to Keyshot 7 dialogue shows.
Click on any of the recently opened BIPs.
Immediate crash to desktop.

Exactly the same on both machines.

and right at this moment I cannot run Keyshot7 as the licensing has failed - still waiting >:(
so thought I might as well post this.

Update on this one. Now that keyshot 7 activation server is back online I have had a closer look at this.

Crash happens when accessing a file over the network on another PC.
No crash when accessing the file through File>Import or Open
Crash seems to happen opening files (via the dialogue) that were previously opened via the SolidWorks plug in.

Mine crashes every time I double click the recent BIP thumbnail. If I single click it, no problem. Double click it... Crash.

Yes, double click on a thumbnail and it takes me back to the desktop.
