Title: edge shadow rendered orange

Need help on this one, edge joints/shadow turning orange. I need to learn a fix need anyone's help please. Appreciate it in advance

I guess you have to turn off global illumination. Or you can slightly lower the ray bounces, so that the light do not "over flow" the shadow area.
Also you can use the occlusion texture in the color channel of the metal. So you can darken these parts/area a bit more.

Hi Marco,

Thanks for the tip, but it still persist. It changed the profile to make it flatter but didn't help either. What seems to work is change the 24k gold metal on that inner part of the ring to gold paint eliminates the problem but it might not have that gold jewelry effect on the trained eye. I will try to re-install KS if that will resolve the matter or download a gold from the cloud.
