Title: Cannot Import larger .dwg files
Post by: samia.hossain@teknion.com on August 20, 2018, 02:10:52 PM
hi All,
I am new to Keyshot. I want to import an AutoCAD 3D file to KeyShot. The window says, "importing ****.dwg" and stays that way. Nothing happens. What should I do?
The .dwg file is 9MB.
Thanks in advance,
Samia.

can you open the dwg in any other app, just to make sure the file isn't corrupted?

choose one of these apps to see if they can open your file. It sounds like it might be corrupted, in which case you will have to go back to the source of the file and see if you can get another exported file, maybe try another format.
