Title: Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R - textures testing
Post by: DaStig on August 26, 2018, 12:01:28 AM
Did some testing & tweaking on some tire textures, and this is the result (model from GrabCad)

... also added them to a nice Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R ... also playing around post-processing the render ...

This is awesome. The scene really lights up the paint colour and chrome details.

Thnx Jimmy ... I also post-processed the render (blurred - grained - color saturation adjustment) to better match the color scheme of the backplate ...

It's all in the details which is what we want to see. I like using the method of duplicating the image a least three times then turning off subsequent RGB layers and tapping the arrow keys for each layer so you get a chromatic aberration effect. Would look sweet on this image.
