Title: No light
Post by: torosjordan on September 17, 2018, 11:51:49 AM
Hi all,

I have a scene with 3 lamps. 2 of which are meant to be lit up. In the real-time render preview, 2 of the three light up as they should. However when I choose 'render', the far right object will not light up, apart from some ground illumination. Any reasons why?

Please check out the attached images. First one is preview render, second is my final render output.

Looking for suggestions !
Thanks.

Hi torosjordan-

What type of material is on the object? What rendering mode are you using? Are the normals flipped on the far right lamp? Can you post screenshots of your material/lighting/rendering settings?

Cheers,
Eric

Thanks for the reply Eric!

Answer to your questions:

What type of material is on the object? Human Skin
What rendering mode are you using? Check the render image... I have even used real-time settings as it should produce the same results as the real-time preview.. but no luck still.

Here are the settings below ...

Cheers!
