Title: How to create sunburst brush?

I want to create a watch face with sunburst effect. I found there is a radial brush, how to create a sunburst brush?

How to select the node? I cannot select in red like that post.

Click on the node to make it 'active' (it will change to a slightly 'lighter' value) then hit the 'view color' button in the ribbon (shows up blue in that same screenshot). The hotkey is 'C'. Hit 'C' again to toggle off that color view.
