The email notice that 8.1.58 was available, and it would offer it automatically when I open 8.0. But it did not, and when I selected Help>Check for Updates, I got this message. Of course, I'm running 64 bit as we all are.
Tried to find the update on the KeyShot website, as well as the KeyShot blog, but no luck.
There's an issue with auto check, as well as Check for Updates.
So how do we find the updates?

This is where I was directed to by the email that I got, I downloaded the update and installed from the download instead of through the app update.
Not sure why you are getting an error on that, looks like it might have been a botched download?
That's really odd, I just updated using the Help > Check For Updates on Win 7 & 10. Though I never did get the automatic pop-up to notify me the update was available. Perhaps downloading the update from the website will fix things up.
Well, I'm at a loss here.
Help>Check for Updates crashes. Email does not have a direct link to the 8.1.58. Nowhere on the KeyShot website or blog either- the highest is 8.0.247.

Thanks for the help guys! All resolved now. I could not get .58 to install, but on the next attempt at download it came in as the 8.1.59 build, which downloaded and installed just fine. Odd, but hey...
