Title: re-load image file button
Post by: PhilippeV8 on August 23, 2011, 10:49:14 PM
e.g.:

I have a picture of a house.  The task is to render a terrace covering in front of the house.  So I set the picture as a backplate and import my 3D stuff.  After getting all the camera setup etc correct, I want to edit the backplate image file so that it has shadows in the right place.  If I just save the image file there is no way in KS to "update the image file" .. I have to give the image file a new name and load that one.  This results in a new image file name for each edit.  Being 5 or more sometimes.

while I'm at it, why don't I add: "change color tone" for both backplate and textures ?

I think you already can do this, no ?... In the "real time" section of the option panel... It's only gamma and luminosity, but maybe in K3 there would be additionnal post effects...

for textures you can already do this by checking the "modulate" button in the texture tab for each material.
