Title: Philco (remember them)
Post by: imikej on December 17, 2018, 04:49:49 PM
If you remember the Philco products (a division of Ford), you're probably reminiscing about the times you spent with your Grandparents or Great Grandparents.  But, aside from some of the beautiful objects our clients make, we are drawn occasionally to the things that were so beautiful and sexy and seductive of times gone by.  Here in some of it's glory is a Philco Predicta TV console.  It offered a stunning number of VHF channels (13) and an unlimited (?) number of UHF channels.  And, it had an internal mono speaker.  Who needs surround sound?

Wow! What a throwback. I've never seen a TV with that shape in real life, but can imagine it brings back a flood of memories. Cool image. Maybe a highlight on the glass would improve it a bit?

I have always loved the era... The grill and wood grains are superb.  8)

Woah, now that's taking it back before my time. Don't think these original ones were in 3D back in the days : ) Really cool work, and as Nacho mention, the aesthetics of that era is super nice.
