Title: In K 8.x -is there a way to animate the particles of smoke or glitter flakes mat
Post by: oko on February 16, 2019, 02:34:04 AM
Hello Community,...

As I recently switched to Keyshot 8.x , and saw the great new features of bringing smoke or glitter flakes into a scene, my question would be, if there is some way to animate this material to bring it to life ?

Any Idea to this topic? Some one?  :o

That is an interesting question. It might be possible if you use a similar workflow like LM6: https://www.keyshot.com/forum/index.php?topic=22932.msg100272#msg100272 (https://www.keyshot.com/forum/index.php?topic=22932.msg100272#msg100272)

There is not an easy one click solution depending on what you wish to achieve.

You can start to drive the density of the flakes with a video map (what I haven't tried it jet).

You can post your progress results if you have further questions. I am sure that this thread can take an interesting journey?!
