Title: Emissive Edge/Wireframe Shader
Post by: kyozon on May 15, 2019, 08:14:12 AM
Hello friends, I would like to ask if it is possible to create an Edge Material/Wireframe looking Shader that is actually an Emissive?

Currently trying to achieve a look similar to that of the pictures attached.

Thanks!

Hi Kyozon.

Yes, if you have an unsmoothed low-poly mesh, then it is definitely possible.
Take a look at the screenshot below. You can use the curvature texture to color the edges white and use that as an opacity map for an emissive material applied as a label on a plastic material (or any type you need).

Download the KSP file here if you want to have a closer look at the scene: https://we.tl/t-6sZpWRpiFz

Cheers,
