I finally got around to watching the Dieter Rams documentary last night. I recommend it. It's quite insightful and inspiring without being hyper-patronizing to a guy who seems to be a very balanced soul.
So, that got me inspired to recreate one of Rams' wonderful products and then the re-envisionment of that which we've all come to know and love. Not to take anything away from the genius of the Ive design. It is a beautiful re-imagining.
Pretty simple render projects that were easy and satisfying to knock out over a glass of wine (or two).
Maybe this will inspire you to watch the documentary, or to render some of Rams' creations.
