Title: ALEMBIC Flipped Normals in Keyshot - Help
Post by: henrysong on October 18, 2019, 11:17:16 AM
Hi all,

I have been working on an animation in Marvelous Designer and have been attempting to render it out in Keyshot for the past few weeks with no good result.
The geometry seems to have flipped normals (has a camo-like reflective quality). I'm trying to render the animation out with different materials on the garment, but the ABC file seems to only export as one material. Wondering if anyone has run into the same thing??

PROBLEMS:
1. Flipped Normals in Keyshot export
2. ABC file exports as one material

THINGS I'VE TRIED
1. Import/Export through Blender - Fixes the geometry, but I loose all original UV maps
2. Calculate Geometry in Keyshot
3. OBJ Sequencing

Have you tried the latest Blender build (2.81) ... the devs have solved an Alembic export bug that was Normals related.
